The kids awoke Easter morning, mostly like any other morning, until they finally spotted an Easter Egg. And then it was downstairs to collect more eggs, find baskets, snack on candies, throw Easter grass about, and blow bubbles.
We met up with Paul’s mother, father, and brother for a lovely ihop breakfast. and then it was back to the house to snap a few family photos before heading to Maryland for a Goldsmith Family Easter.
Aunt Peggy Hosted Easter this year as has been so in previous years. It was a beautiful time filled with family, food, and fun. In the last few years there has been a surge of babies and it was nice to have an actual group of kids to participate in the Easter egg hunt and watch run and play around.

This year was the first year we actually dyed eggs with the kids. And although I took the lead on most of the actual dying they definitely took the lead on decorating their eggs with stickers and such. I can’t wait to see how this process with evolve over the years as they grow older.
